Hello everyone my name is Elizabeth Branwell and I am the assistant head of the Institute under Darcey Knight.

I was born in New York but then my family moved to Los Angeles when my father became the head of the L.A. Insitute. For many years I studied my father learning the ins and outs of running and Institute and let me just say it is very hard work. I have a lot of respect for what my father did in his lifetime, and even more repsect for Darcey. She runs a tight ship.  Unfortuanlty when I was 18 years old my home was attacked my Jonathan Morgenstern and his followers. The L.A. Institute was destoryed though I was lucky enough to get a fire message out to Darcey before the attacks started and I am forever grateful that she and her forces came to our aid. Among those was Dylan the eldest son of Jace and Clary Herondale who happened to be my boyfriend at the time.

In the days following the attacks I along with my baby sister Lexi and my 10 month old baby brother Sam where rescued and taken home to New York. Under the watchful eyes of Darcey, Dylan, and there families we setteld back into our daily lives not forgetting what we lost in L.A. It took some time before I was able to set foot in the ops center but with the support of Darcey she helped me heal. Eventually I started trainging again but I really missed the behind the scenes work. That's when Darcey approached me about being her intern/assistant head. 

So flash forward to now I am currently still living in New York, Brooklyn to be exact, engaged to Dylan and studying very hard under the guidance of Darcey Knight. 

I have no doubt that with her leadership our Institute will go down in history as the best run Institute of all time.
